Mission Partners
We hugely value partnership with other organisations and churches in order to better serve and love our neighbours, and to spread the good news of Jesus. The following are organisations that we formally support.
-
Tearfund is an international Christian organisation whose primary focus is to support those who are in poverty and to provide disaster relief for disadvantaged communities. Tearfund works in over 50 countries supporting many great projects.
-
Unity in Poverty Action is a Leeds based charity which works in 3 different areas:
Raising awareness and channeling resources from churches and individuals to assist initiatives in their work
Helping the Christian community and wider city in working and praying together
Engaging in the topic of church communities to disciple and be discipled by people from the margins of society
-
Kidz Klub is a charity which supports children in their communities, homes and schools. Kidz Klub currently works with 1250+ children and their families across Leeds. They seek to transform children's lives for the better and to help them prepare for the future.
-
Transformations Leeds is a charity which supports international students. They aim to support local Christians, churches and student groups to reach out to international students. Their main focus is to welcome these students and help them find discipleship opportunities.
Our Local
Community
We are part of God’s thriving church in Leeds, united across denominations by the name of Jesus: we’re pleased to see God’s people worship Him in all sorts of ways, because across Leeds we are one church, with one faith. In particular we support our neighbours Gateway Church, Lighthouse, Rainbow Junktion, and the Cardigan Centre.
We also have a formal partnership with St George’s Church and Holy Trinity Boar Lane in Leeds - find out more here.
As the parish church of Wrangthorn and Woodhouse, we are a part of the wider Anglican community. The Leeds Anglican website is a great place to find out about the vision of the diocese and see what the church is doing across our city.
